    Captain Melissa Curtis

I love this life! I never know where the next rescue call will take me. It’s exciting. And I like helping people in trouble out on the water.

My partner Pasha and I live in beautiful Comox on Vancouver Island. One of our favourite local spots is Sandy Island Marine Provincial Park, known as ‘Tree Island’ offers lovely sandy beaches to explore. It’s also fun to anchor our boat, jump into the water and swim.

  • C-Tow Captain Ron Everett

    Captain Ron Everett

Ron Everett loves the great outdoors and living in Campbell River. With its large fishing and boating community, is perfect for him and his new life as a C-Tow Captain.

My area reaches from Campbell River to Shelter Point to Baker’s Passage. There’s no other C-Tow operator north of me; Sayward Island is the northernmost point. It can be wild and treacherous with fast water and high winds. But it’s a breathtaking landscape.

  • C-Tow Captain Scott Flemming

    Captain Scott Flemming

Scott Flemming has been living the good life on tiny Mudge Island on the East Coast of Vancouver Island for 25 years. He is part of the Mudge Island Citizen Society, a not for profit mission to provide fire protection and emergency services.

Just get in the boat and go. Around here, you can see plenty of wildlife, seals, sea lions, orcas and large birds of prey including eagles and ospreys. You can drop anchor for the night because the waters here are so protected.
